This picture, which I believe dates from the 1950’s, may be of interest to those with an ICI background. The names, from left to right, are standing: Turner, Little, Jefferson. seated: Downie, Connelly, Stevenson. “Little” was my grandfather, William Arthur Little, He served as an Engineer Officer in the Merchant Navy during the First World War and subsequently joined ICI in 1927 as a fitter on Construction. He then moved to Energy Group/Pipebridges with the old Gas and Power Works, becoming a foreman in 1934 and retired in 1951.
