My Great Grandfather, Christopher Little, is seated on the left. He was born in Port Clarence in 1871. We know nothing of his Boer war record and would be grateful if anyone could enlighten us on their uniforms etc. His son Thomas Little had Little’s Fish Shop on Hume Street near Stockton Station.

The “Find my Past” website provides a searchable database for soldiers of the Boer War.
There are 4 soldiers listed as “C Little”, all from different regiments.

Thanks Cliff. I found some info. He signed up in 1901 to the Imperial Yeomanry. Was discharged about a year later as medically unfit. Downloaded his Attestation docs. from Find My Past. Now have Library card to use their facilities. Thanks
