  1. What become of the pub in Hunters Lane and what did the call it and when was the new road built at Church Road and Portrack Lane?

  2. I remember the cattle coming down Princess St past my Grans house in the 50’s, Wednesday was auction Day, pubs were open all day supposedly for the Farmers coming into Town. Gran always kept the door closed just in case one went astray.

  3. The building on the right was the cattle auction ring and the building on the left was for the calves. The Half Moon pub on the corner of Bath Lane was very busy on cattle market days, the Stockton Library stands at the entrance where the sheep and market stalls were kept.
