It is the Co-op on Norton Road. My nanna Florie Donachie lived next door to Mrs Tinkler at 3 Wynyard Street and my mum Irene Donachie worked at Palmers Newsagents.

This is the Co-op on Norton Road at Tilery. Now a tyre fitting unit.

To me, it looks remarkably like the Co-op in the corner of Wynyard Street and Norton Road. I remeber that there was a butcher’s next door and a newsagent’s further along. My grandmother, Adelaide Tinkler, lived in 5 Wynyard Street.
