The teacher is called Taylor, he used to work in the R & D at Head Wrightsons, Thornaby and was a part time magician. The boy on the front-row with the ball is Graeme the son of Jimmy Ball the former South Bank player and the boy back-row 2nd left is Stephen Brockbank whose dad Alf played in goal for Durham County Schoolboys team.

This teacher also taught at Newham Grange, which then became Bishopsgarth School when it amalgamated with Richard Hind in about 1973/4
