Prior to becoming Wolviston Supplies it was a saddlery run by “Saddler Bob Stonehouse” who made everything in leather pertaining to a riding horse or a cart horse. This was in a time when
the village housed ten working farms and half dozen within easy walking distance. It has been replaced by a block of flats named “Wynyerd House” the local pronunciation for
the nearby estate.
