When next in the area shall check out Richard Hind estate!!! Cliff Thornton (my uncle is Arthur Dinsdale), you were a class below me at Richard Hind school, you are sat next to Barry Thompson who stayed in the street behind Dinsdale’s garage and off Yarm Lane, age prevents me from bringing the name of the street to mind, however I was one of Barry’s friends.

I attended Richard Hind from 1955 to 1959. I didn’t know the school was demolished. I then went to Grangefield which has also been demolished. I now live in USA but love this site for news of Stockton

Richard Hind juniors still stands albeit no longer a school but a nursery. It was Richard Hind secondary school that was demolished and a housing estate built on the land. Susan, I remember you as a young girl, I am older than you, also attended Grangefield. I think that you were in the same class as my sister at R H juniors, she was Janice Wright.
