  1. Heartbreaking I spent much of the happiest times of my life in the old YMCA, I actually lived there for a couple of years in the early 70s. Oddly enough for a YMCA many of the upper floors were filled with trainee nurses and police women.

  2. I didn’t even know it was empty! It’s where I attended Scottish dancing lessons every Saturday morning as a child, in the ground floor big room with the big bay window. I passed I’ve of my pianoforte exams in one of the rooms on a higher floor and when at school we played badminton there too. Memories associated with this place.
