I’m trying to locate Christine Weims, my very first girlfriend, she left the school and the area at the age of about 7 years in the early 50’s, I would appreciate any info.
Would anyone be interested in an informal recorded conversation over a coffee about their experience at Billingham south school? Currently researching the school as it moves closer towards its 100th birthday. Interested in how the school, teaching, curriculum, discipline and life chances of its pupils has changed over time. Also interested in any photos I could have via email. Many thanks
Since I last contacted you I have been sent my Aunt’s memories of her time at the South Modern, It was called Billlingham Intermediate School when she started there in 1941.
