A Very Merry Christmas To All!

Well, what a strange and crazy year we’ve had… Picture Stockton is indebted to those who donate photographs, those who add their stories and comments and also the site visitors who just enjoy the site for what it is. This is what makes Picture Stockton a success. I hope that you have had as much pleasure from visiting the site as I have from running it. I’d like to sincerely thank you all for your kind words and good wishes and to wish all of our friends old and new a very Happy Christmas and a safe and prosperous New Year. I will be taking a few days off now but please keep your comments and picture contributions coming (for picture contributions please email: pictures@stockton.gov.uk). Best Wishes, Laura. Picture Stockton will be back in 2021.

  1. Hi Laura and the rest of the Picture Stockton team,

Thank you very much for the photos of Stockton now; I have seen lots of changes compared to when I used to live there years ago.

I wish you a very Happy Christmas too, and let’s hope 2021 will be a far sight better than this year, eh?

    Best wishes,

    Perry Moore

  3. Thank you for creating this site. I grew up in Roseworth but left Stockton when I finished school to study to become a nurse. I later moved to Spain, where I have been living since Mad Maggie came into power and destroyed the system in the UK. This site keeps me in touch with my home town and brings back a lot of memories too. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and that things get back to normal soon. Best Wishes,

    Eileen Brophy

As an Stockton boy exiled in Colchester I look forward to your messages and looking at the web site, especially about Hardwick Estate where I grew up.

    Best Wishes Steve
