One photograph shows a view of the remaining factories on the banks of the River Tees. The second shows the water tower at Robinsons behind the Parish Church. Also just about visible is the top of the New Town Hall c1980s.

Just realised that the lower picture showed that Robinsons water tower was the tallest building in Stockton High Street
The buildings on the right were Allan Kennedy Ltd, later Lionweld Kennedy. I was a hammerdriver on the forge.
