      • When I worked at Dinsdales Garage in the late fifties there was a Bill Mann came to work with us in the body shop for a while. I believe he used to live in the Ewbank Street area.

I am Pam Painter – do I know you?? Yes we have been in Glasgow for over 30 years and love the place. However, pleased to hear from my Sister that Stockton is getting its act together.

I remember as a wee gal of nearly 14 seeing Eddie Cochrane and Gene Vincent playing at the Globe. And yes we did meet them and have their autographs. If the Globe or whatever it is called now are interested in a programme of the event email me – Picture Stockton will pass along my email if contact them directly pictures@stockton.gov.uk

      • There was a chap called Mann who did body repairs at Oxbridge Garage and later Jennngs. He lived on Tithebarn Road Hardwick at that time. He was one of a few that drank anti freeze out of the boot of some customers car thinking it was some kind of pop because it was in a lemonade bottle. This incident was in the Gazette at the time.
