Completely correct. Forwards on the pic are Oxbridge Lane houses. Between 2 of them a lane ran downhill and then to left and right to an entrance to the park. On the right of the pic are Richmond Road houses. At the top of that road was a double gated entrance to the park. Walked/ran through there many times in the 30″s to 50″s!
I agree,this photo is of backs of houses on richmond road and oxbridge lane.
Having veiwed this photo the houses in the background are actually in the vicinity of Oxbridge, Richmand Road etc.The picture is taken from the south side of the bandstand.
