The square tower on the right hand side of the road is the red brick St Peter’s Church.
The fainter spire in the distance is Yarm Road Methodist Church. It appears so faint as the stonework was then quite new. In later years it became blackened by soot and smoke.
What is the enomous spike or spire in the distance at the bottom of the road?
