The Cleveland Flour Mills, included in a view of Victoria Bridge, Stockton. The Mills were established in Thornaby in 1871 and closed c1960. In 1879 Richard H. Appleton & Co. later Appleton, French & Co. Pre 1871 the site was occupied by Messrs. W. Turnbull & Co. shipyards.
