Is this definitely 1988 – I thought the glass canopy at the entrance to the Castlegate Centre was a more recent addition. And what has happened to the market? You can tell by the two sections of it that can be seen here that there were loads more stalls than there are now. One of the worst things they did was to break the market up into silly little bits and pieces and have it dotted around all over the place, but will they put it back to how it was – can’t wait to see the new plans – you think it can’t get any worse but the sad thing is maybe it can.
Anon – To clarify, I actually meant both scenarois that you mentioned. Mike Renwick – I was thinking just that as I typed the comment.
Julian Rafferty – wouldn’t surprise me to see it back in situ in the not too distant future!
I wonder in what context Julian Rafferty uses the word ‘disgraceful’. Is it the fact of the number of unemployed or the fact that this number of unemployed is being advertised?
Nice to see the ‘unemployment’ banner at the front of the shambles. Disgraceful.
