It’s great to see this picture. I remember it in the 60’s when it was ghostly because it was seldom used if at all. There was a good sloping bank around part of it that we used to slide down on cardboard, on the snow. At the back of the theatre ran a small stream where we searched for newts. I never saw a newt there but dad claimed they were there.

My sister Enid was in the chorus of this production. I can still sing some of the choruses which I learned too as she practiced at home.
