There was also one at Church Road who worked in conjunction with the one at Maxwells Corner. Good old days when you could call Stockton High Street a proper High Street.
Ah yes, a Pacittos ice cream and a quarter of mint imperials and a Will Hay or George Formby picture at The Regal. This picture shows the point duty policeman on duty at Yarm Lane and High Street. The other policeman was at Maxwells Corner. Good Bobbys.
