As a young boy I used to play along here, and had to be carefull as the train”s came over St John”s crosssing and along to the dockside crane”s that unloaded the little ships that came up the river to the bottom of Finkle street, they carried a lot of scrap etc. It was very busy down there in them day”s. the bananas also came in the little ships.
