Does anyone have a picture of No 57 Brunswick Street? My grandfather was born there in 1868.
I am interested in the street which lay behind Brunswick Street – York Street. Can anyone tell me what these houses were like? I have ancestors living there in 1851 – don”t know when the houses were demolished, or if a second set of houses may have been built and then demolished in this time. Any information would be appreciated.
Brings back memories. I used to climb that lamp post when I was a child, I lived in number 52 Brunswick Street. 1952 I lived there,I went to Mill Lane school. Turnbull”s scrap yard used to be on the corner in between Brunswick Street and Skinner Street,
