The reinforced concrete retaining wall on the left was reported complete in council records of 27/6/1950. Above it is the remains of Smithfield soon to be demolished. There are three bogie bolster wagons on what I think maybe siding two, complete by 5/9/1950. Foundation work on the rightside unfinished sidings 4 and 5 reported complete on 25/7/1950. All sidings on this side of the new warehouse reported finished on 3/10/1950. Siding numbering is contradictory in the council records, but one pair on the right were last to be laid in other photos, with the left one laid but not chaired.
