The young lady on the far right is Miss Mammie Kidner, nee – Wilson, who, at the time the picture was taken, lived at “Veradale” Junction Road Norton. The family were good friends of ours and remained so until all the Norton family had died. Captain Wilson was with the Ellerman Line and was one of a number of retired sea captains who lived on or near Junction Road.
