  1. I would like to find out some history on this farm as my maiden name is Cunningham and I am originally from Stockton-On-Tees (born 1946). My father is deceased so I cannot find out any information about his uncles, or cousins at the moment.

  4. I spent many hours at Cunningham Farm between 1977 and 1996 with the owner George Farrow, I used to help him haytime and build his haystacks among many other activities we did, A truly wonderful and knowledgable man.

    • Hello Michael I also spent time in the 80s helping on the farm with George and Vera. I remember the kitchen with the bath and Vera’s excellent Madeira cake. I also remember the ghost tails he told me and gibbet wood. He was a proper farmer.

  5. Cunningham House Farm (Steading) A174 from the A19 take first exit to Stainton. Before you get to the bridge over the A174 look right. The entrance to the house is there. The buildings are on the ordnance survey map, but not named. I tried to buy this property circa 2000
