My best friend at the time way back in 1950 John Perkins lived in the house with the light coloured door. I lived across the back Street in Richardson Rd. We also played with George Brooks and Chris Richardson we used our shed as our headquarters.
Yes he was a small dark haired lad, but we lost touch and found different friends. I know he was a keen scout and may have become a referee. I think he lived in Fairfield after he was married.
