  1. Nice aerial view. In the late 50″s I worked on the Friarage when Head Wrightsons took it over. We found some old Tapestries in the loft area of the building. We were told that in the Cromwell days that the Catholics held secret services and these Tapestries would have been part of the Alter. They were taken away and probably handed over to some Museum. Does anyone know of their existence? Also when digging out for foundations I believe they came upon human skeletons that were chained together but were immediately covered back over. In the picture you can just see the Friarage in the top right hand corner of the photograph.

  2. We have lots of pictures of Yarm. View the aeriel photos section or search for Yarm. kind regards Picture Stockton Team.

  3. Do you have any detailed pictures of the viaduct in color? This is a great picture!! I’ve been looking for some recent color photos of Yarm, Stockton-on-Tees, UK. Can you help? Thanks.
