Does anybody know the date of this photograph and the colour of the tunic? Was it red as a line battalion should be, green as adopted by “rifle” volunteers, or the Elcho grey of most Victorian Volunteer Battalions?

Hi Linda, I’d be interested in knowing more about the postcard and Gustav as I’m doing some research into the origins of the band.
