Catherine – I don”t know if this is of any help to you but my Mother worked as A Senior Nursing Officer at I.C.I between the dates that you mention.She worked in Occupational Health. Let me know if we can be of any assistance with your work. My Mother is 85 and now lives in Durham City and I”m sure she would love to help you.
Please may I ask for the help of the users of this site. I am presently completing my university dissertation on health care services in Stockton, 1948-1968 and would love to have the opportunity to speak to any professionals who worked in healthcare in Stockton during this period, for example GPs, District Nurses, Health Visitors or District Midwives.
