  1. Yes I did go to school with Eddie, he was in my class through juniors till we left at 15.
I went on to ICI and then moved to Thornaby when I got married, still there now, never saw much of Eddie after that. Dave, my brother, was Eddie’s sisters age, Christine I think her name was. I knocked about with Peter Connor for years, till we started to go to the Mary’s youth club.

  2. Phil, I seem to remember you being friendly with Eddie Reeves who lived next door to me in Inskip Walk, or would it have been your brother David?

  3. Nicky now lives in Northampton. I remember this game well as we won 2-1 against the Black Horse, which was a double as we beat them the previous year as well but I was manager then as I had an injury. Good times.

  4. JOHN HAYTON IN THIS PHOTO IS AN OLD STOCKTON WEST END PLAYER. HE WAS ON WOLVISTON COMMITTEE ALONG WITH TWO OTHER WELL KNOWN FOOTBALLERS, HARRY ARMSTRONG & JOHN BETTISON. PHIL MARSHALL IS THE FATHER OF NIKKI WHO WORKED IN THE OFFICES AT HARKERS ENGINEERING.

  5. This photo shows Phil Marshall receiving a trophy from John Hayton, the player on the left was a teacher at Our Lady & St Bedes School,Sockton.
