  1. Third picture down Albany school football team… Brian Mulhearn, Keith Alderidge, Paul Taylor, Gerald Clamp, Geoff? Ian Lang, Gary Turne… wish I could get a copy?

  2. Both Dave Krezack and his brother Paul were apprentices joiners at F Hills. Paul had his name ‘graffitied’ on the Blue Bridge on the Ring Road. It was on there for years. How they managed to daub it up there is beyond me.

  3. The photo 4th down is as follows back-row L to R Arthur Davison (brother of the referee the late Tony Davison), ?, Alan Dunwell(father of Micheal & Chris), Kevin Winship, ?. Front-row Mr Laing, Jeff Laing, ?.

  4. The top two photos of the five a side teams, this team represented the area very well in the regional & national competitions.

  5. The 11-a-side team on the pitch the names are LtoR back row Dave Eagan, Maurice Laing, (CR),Stephen Laing, Philip (pip) Williams I think ( pic is a bit small), (CR), (CR),Arthur Davison, Terry Boradbent, Michael Hurne, Jeff Lainf, Peter Maheer ( I think) , Norman Alderton, LtoR front row John Huges (GK), Ronnie Pickering (I think, face obscured by yellow letering), (CR) , (CR), Robert Umpleby

  6. The team picture with the light diagonal sripe is the Norton School team circa 1975, I”ll have a go at names: From L-R, back row; Ian Doran, Kevin Beaumont, Paul Taylor? Keith Steinmetz, Jeff Crawford, Garry Turner, Ian Laing. Front Row; Unknown, Keith (Kipper)Aldridge, Unknown, Trevor McCartney? Unknown, Brian Mulhern, Unknow.

  7. The team from left to right is as follows – Kev Winship,Rob Umpleby, Steve Laing,me Mally Tupling and Dave Krezack. You are right it was the final round at Manchester which was why Malcolm Allison who was manager at Man City was presenting the trophy before we all played in the finals at Wembley in 1972 this was the second year we had achieved this as we had played there in 1971 and by the way the player behind me is Graham Buckle (sorry Graham)

  8. The 5- a- side picture is Daver Kreczak, Malcolm Tupling (my brother in law), can”t remember the goalkeper, Steve Leng and A N other. They were the youth club 5 a side team from Bishopton Rd (nr the cross roads where the sainsburys supermarket now is) and had won their way to the finals of the competition at the Wembley indoor arena sometime in the late 1960s.

  9. Sorry Micky, that’s not me on this photograph. I remember the occasion and I was there (5 a side competition) nice to here from you. I also think it was at the pavilion at Thornaby.

  10. I think the lad receiving the trophy is Malcolm Tupling. I”m certain it”s Malcolm standing second left on the next photograph down. I played with Malcolm for Hartburn Villa in the Stockton Sunday League in the early seventies – does anybody remember them?

  11. I”m trying to figure out where and when the photo was taken with Malcom Allison presenting awards. Who was the team, what was the occasion and is that Les Bibok on the far left hand side of the photo?

    • This photo was taken after Tilery won the National final at Manchester and the big lad on the left is Kevin Winship. The lad stood next to Malcolm Allison is Dave Krezack who later played rugby for Stockton Rugby Club.
