Easy come, easy… well not so easy go 🙂
Built on the Tees at the Aveco yard, and tugged to Stockton while the river was still tidal. It has languished on the river side for many years. (Why was it berthed in a location that mostly hid it from view?) After several false starts, it finally made it’s escape by crane over the lock at the barrage on 13/04/2018, (https://bit.ly/2qvKcbE). Sad to see it go, but hope to see it looking spic and span and put to better use at Whitby sometime soon. http://www.hmbarkendeavour.co.uk/
