From a Photo taken with a No. 5 Poco Camera by M. Heavisides. This curious formation is said to be well worth visiting. One bright afternoon we set off from our quarters entering a gateway on the right, just before reaching Bow Lees bridge. Were we an adult party, with youth on our side, we would certainly explore this lovely stream, so interesting to the botanist and ornithologist; but, being considered dangerous to youngsters after traversing by its side one hundred yards, we leave it on our left, and proceeding by a pathway across a field, enter an opening in a stone wall, and continue to the top of the hill, when, to our surprise, we come right on to the cave. Owing to the recent heavy rain, we see the fall in good trim. The “three graces amuse themselves by going behind the stream of water, and occasionally catch more spray than they bargained for.
