The Vane Arms and the Black Lion Hotel on Stockton High Street.
I never saw these buildings because I first moved to Stockton as an 8 year old in 1969 when these buildings had been flattened and they were starting to build the Castlegate Centre. The building between the Vane Arms and the Black Lion looks ornate and very interesting indeed. Can someone please explain anything about that?
