Yes Geoff you are quite right, we left St Johns in 1962, I think that was the date I put on it but never mind. This was the trip to Ripon and Fountains Abbey. I have some other photos of trips to Whitby, High Force and Durham, we got about a bit didn”t we! I can still remember the excitment of school trip day, with my ex WD haversack full of sandwiches and the like.I will see what else we have in the Owens photo collection.
Tom, That”s brought back a memory or three! Are you sure of the date? I”d put it a year or two earlier. Don”t think I have any pics from St Johns, so really chuffed to see it. I”ll have a look-see next time I”m back in the UK and see if my mam has anything.
