My Aunty, Hilda Robson, worked here for a time and always remember her stories of the new Disney kids movies showing. Memeorable times.
I remember when I was a little girl. My gran (Marther Wyeth) and my auntie Jessie (Jessie Parnaby) used to go to the Odion every saturday afternoon and they used to get a tray with a pot of tea and bread and butter brought to them by an usher half way through the film.
This photograph shows Pauline Malloy and Lilian McEwan in the Odeon Cinema Foyer in Stockton. The Manager at that time was Mr Goldthorpe.
My mam, Doreen Instone used to work at the Odeon in the 50s and 60s, she worked there with her mam. Any information, photos or memories regarding that time would be be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark.
I can remember my sister Pat Baker working at the Odeon and Mr Goldthorpe was the manager.
