High Street Norton, the large house to the right of the photograph, was the home of the Walford family in the 1950s/60s, I made reference to the family on a recent photo displayed on “Picture Stockton” of Lita Rosa, when she attended a garden party here, along with a visit from the then Lady Londonderry who arrived in a sporty VW two seater, the photograph would appear to be at least thirty years later going by the vehicles.
