  1. During the demolition phase in the 60″s, the leader of the Co-op youth club in Wellington Street came to an accord with the contractors. As members of the club, we were allowed to remove items which would be of continuing value. An early example of recycling. This was done under the view & control of the contractors. With the modern Health & Safety regime, this would no longer be allowed. As these removals were done in accordance with the existing regulations. Have the authorities not gone too far?

  2. Looks like a Sunday morning scene, possibly taken in the middle fifties.No school children waiting for the No 3 and 3A buses to Richard Hind or Queen Vic
