Third from the left at the back with the cap on is my Grandad Robert Harrison. I still have the Grandmother clock presented on the day.
Malcolm. About 1959 ish I played darts for Sparks in the Middesbrough and District League playing our matches on a Tuesday evening. The Manager of the team was a Bob Harrison who lived in the Boro and was the Chairman of the Darts League there. Is this the same Bob?
The man in the suit presenting the gift was John Spark MD of R Spark and Sons
The white coated Manager in the middle of this photo was the Mad Russian, who had boarded a Royal Navy Ship in Archangle Port, Russia, and insisted he was to be taken to England – he was. Does anyone know if the man in the suit on his right was the Bakery owner Mr Ralph Sparks ?
The chap 3rd from the right is George Mitchell he was the bakery forman,he was also a Durham F.A. Coucil Member.
