The name Lambert rings a bell I think one of them may be Lizzy Bean. Where did your nana originate from, Jeanette?
If you can supply me with her maiden name I will have a look on my family tree.
does any one know the names of any of the girls in the picture. as one of them looks similar to my nanna she was called agnes mcgurk, nee lambert, and if it is her i think its the one on the bottom row with the curly hair. its funny jack because there area adams on my nanas side of the tree and she came from stockton is there a possibility that we do?
This photograph was taken in the mid 1940″s when my mother worked at Curry”s, the warehouse was situated in Castlegate and the quayside in Stockton. The company stored and distributed food and other consumable goods, it was later taken over by SPD. The picture was taken on the steps in Castlegate, my mother is on the left bottom row.
