  1. What a shame they redeveloped this area. Park Terrace was a lovely place – when my grandparents lived there the people opposite had gardens. At the end was a derelict house which I think had belonged to a Doctor. The gates – I can remember my uncles lifting me up and letting me swing from the top bar until unfortunately I fell on my head and was concussed. The chuggy as we used to call it was a great place for all the local lads and lasses who used to meet to play football or just have a chat – Happy days.

  2. These gates to the Holy Trinity Churchyard would of been located in Park Terrace. I know because I was born there and spent many happy hours playing on the gates. From this point, you would be looking South-West to the church from Park Terrace.

  3. I”d guess this this shows the construction of the new road between Bridge Road and Yarm Lane, which took away part of the east side of the churchyard. Note the east entrance to the churchyard, isolated due to the construction works.
