Works outings to Stewart Park in the 1950s;
A history of the park is being compiled, can anybody remember the names of other companies who used the park for works outings?
I don”t think this is Preston Park as there is no slope in the ground from the field up to the door. It is more likely Stewart Park as they used to have many work days out for different companies in the 50″s. I used to go there as my Dad worked for SDS&I then became British Steel
My mother is in the photo on the far right but she doesn”t remember much about it. Can anyone help?
