There is a date in a stone below the clock on the archway that led to the school from the High Street. Guessing 1886.

Isn’t this picture fascinating?! The dress and hairstyles. Having been a pupil at this school myself (after it had changed name to Norton High Street school), I’m enjoying seeing a cleaner building than I remember. Can anyone tell me when Norton Board was first built? Mr. Harbron, I am sure, will know.
