  1. I too remember the Wilkinson family at this address. The newish property to the left was built in the 1970″s to replace a terrace of 3 early 19th century cottages in one of which, No.9, my grandmother Anastasia Parnaby lived from 1915 until its demolition around 1970. I recall the Edwards family lived next to her in No.7 and the Watson”s opposite. She was rehoused into one of the alms houses in Wynyard Road (shown elsewhere on this site) which at that time had been newly and extensively refurbished.

  2. I remember this house as that of the Wilkinson family. Two boys – Norman (sadly lost while in the Forces and Harry). The house on the right belonged to the McDowell family.
