This is a picture of some of the staff at Power Station B, not sure of the date but guess it would be between 1960 to 1965. My father-in-law Leslie James Gurr worked there as a fitter after moving from Wallsend about 1952. Les is shown second from the left. Maybe an ex-employee could identify the rest of the gang shown here and also the exact location. Les passed away in 2000
I was a student apprentice in 1959 and Les worked at the “c” station. At that time he was a supervisor (charge hand) over the mechanical fitters, welders laggers and blacksmith. I recognize two of the people, the guy on the right hand end was a fitter’s mate and the guy on the left was in the electrical workshop if I remember correctly. I left North Tees C in 1963 to go as General Assistant Engineer at Skelton Grange ‘B’. If the photo was taken 1960 it would be at the ‘C” station
