These three photographs show a vessel being moved out of Riley Boilers workshops. The vessel is eventually put onto a low loader for delivery. The photos appear to have been taken in the early to mid fifties. Courtesy of Neil Youdale.

The man in the background standing underneath the boiler, is the joiner Tommy Carter making final adjustments.
I presume the Pickfords trucks were based at Church Street, Stockton.
The two guys in the foreground on one of the photos are George Waistell and Jack? Stainsby. The photos were my late Father’s (Denis Youdale) who worked at Rileys as a plater from 1939 until its closure in 1965.
