The ’Friends of the Endeavour’ are a group of volunteers founded in 1993 to help run the Endeavour replica moored at Castlegate Quay in Stockton. Volunteers provided guided tours, sold tickets and helped in the shop among many other tasks. The group sadly disbanded a few years ago. Courtesy of Tim Hardy.
