The aircraft is a Hawker Hart (T) not a Westland Wapiti. This was is one of a batch of 146 (K6415-6550) built by Armstrong Whitworth with a Rolls Royce Kestrel X engine. The Hawker Hart was a between the wars two-seat biplane bomber, this is the two-seat trainer variant that continued to be used early Second World War.
