Unknown RAMC soldier of the Great War

Picture of an unknown soldier whom I believe is wearing a Royal Army Medical Corp uniform. I only know that it was taken in 1915. I had an uncle who died in WWI at the age of 19 but he was in the 21st Battalion Tyneside Scottish Northumberland Fusiliers so it cannot be him. His name was Adam Armstrong. My paternal Grandmother had brothers James Gow and John Gow maybe it is one of them.

I would appreciate if anyone can offer information on the soldier or the uniform.
