  1. After some research we have discovered two Stanley Streets once existed in Stockton. Stanley Street in Norton does indeed have bay windows and is close to Frederick Nattrass school. A second Stanley Street ran across Wellington Street in the town centre with Hutchinson Street and Derby Street on either side.

  2. I am sorry but this is not Stanley Street. Stanley Street has bay windows, this street has not. There are no houses/shops at the end of the street – one end is fields which was the Frederick Nattrass garden. If you were looking the other way that was the open air school kitchens.

  3. Liz Waterhouse – This is part of my family , with mother Cissie, sisters Hannah and Jennie. Sorry, mother did not have sister Elizabeth. Photo taken outside of 23 Stanley Street, Stockton.

  4. I think Cissie Davies on here is my mums Aunty. Cissie had a sister called Elizabeth (my grandmother), not sure who the other girls are though.
