Most captions to this photo describe Jim Lipthorpe presenting a cheque for £3,000 to Alan Freeman on behalf of the National Youth Association. The £3,000 had been raised by all the staff at the Fiesta. In the early 1970s Alan Freeman was Vice President of the London Association of Youth Clubs, so I suspect that it was that organisation that was the beneficiary.
