A Pictorial History of Stockton-on-Tees
I spent my childhood and teenage years in Stockton and my Father worked at the printers in Finkle street (Bakers). I often paid a visit to the works when I was young, going into the works via Green Dragon yard, they were good memories. This photograph brings it all back. I also had my first Bank Account at Yorkshire bank when I started my aprenticeship at Head Wrightsons, I received a good service from that Yorkshire branch shown on the photograph.
I was apprenticed at J W Baker in Finkle Street, leaving in 1960. I wonder when your father worked there and his name!
